“ Can book this in google so easy convenient the environment is well-designed and confortable. The food overall is great, the only thing is the wagyu was hard to bite, too chewy. Ramen texture was nice, we liked the curry fries and the ice cream bun. The staffs were nice too. Happy meal ”
“ This is my second time to Hakkapo and as usual I always go with the ponzu salmon diy sushi roll They also serve it with small nori sheets, which is lovely, you can eat the salmon donburi with the nori! Also the highlight of our lunch was Tan tan ramen! I kid you not it’s probably the BEST ramen I’ve ever tried. The soup is so flavourful, it’s fresh and creamy, but not overly salty / heavy. There’s a mild taste of spiciness but still acceptable! Definitely will come back again for the ramen!! Another point plus is that they have Asahi beer ”

I loved the miso aubergine, karaage, sushi deep fried rice, kimchi - and don’t forget to save room for the fried bao Ovaltine ice cream. Such a delicious dessert considering I don’t love sweet stuff, it was Not Too Sweet (iykyk). The friendliest servers too, very chill and helpful. As a Hakka Chinese person myself, I want this place to do so well! ”

“ One of the nicest and best ramen restaurants I’ve ever been to! Kris, the manager, gave us outstanding service and shared some great knowledge about their wine selection. He made us feel so welcome, which truly turned our day around, especially since we’d been having such a rough one. The atmosphere and service made us feel completely at home. We ordered the Laksa Crab Ramen, their Ebi Fried Bao, Wagyu Beef, and some wines—all of which were simply incredible. I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you so much! ”
“ It takes a lot for me to give a place 5* so here is why: 1. We ordered the Japanese fried chicken, tan tan noodles and crab laksa. Fried chicken done simply and absolutely superb, served with a lovely curry style dip. Laksa had an really strong depth of flavour, with ramen style noodles for a bit of fusion. The tan tan noodles were a bit spicy but flavour great overall. 2. The man serving us was genuinely nice, welcoming and really conversational. I’m not sure why the place did not have many customers, possibly because it was 12 on Sunday and they had nuits opened but it was starting to fill up. 3. We were surprised with 30% discount off our bill for Sunday, which is great! 33 quid before tax for 2 mains, 1 starter and 1 desert covering two people is unbeatable value. They change the menu from time to time and the chef seems to know what he’s doing. This place is worth the visit! ”

“ Really relaxing and friendly atmosphere in restaurant. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Good selection of food to choose from. Everything was fresh and made in house. Owner took time out to come over and ask how things were and told us some things about the food we were eating but also about upcoming menu changes and new bakery! He recommended the bao bun for dessert which was unbelievable and wanted more! 1000% will be coming back to try new menu and to get more bao buns!! ”
